What is QuickRescue and how does it work?

QuickRescue is a feature that leverages AED data sharing technology to improve emergency response times and situational awareness during a Sudden Cardiac Arrest emergency. With an active REALConnect™ Services subscription, you can opt in to have your Avive Connect AED®s alert 911 when they are in use. 

When QuickRescue is enabled, emergency services (911) will be automatically notified when your device performs a heart rhythm analysis, indicating that the AED's electrode pads have been placed on a patient and a rescue attempt is happening. This notification includes the AED's location, device details, and incident data. It also allows 911 to dispatch EMS to the scene even if a responder or bystander has not already called 911.

To enable QuickRescue, log in to your REALConnect Platform and navigate to the Organization Settings page. Then, click the blue button that says, “Enable QuickRescue.”
