What is QuickRescue and how does it work?

QuickRescue is a feature designed to improve emergency response times and situational awareness during a sudden cardiac arrest emergency. To enable QuickRescue, log in to your REALConnect Platform and navigate to the Organization Settings page. Then, click the blue button that says, “Enable QuickRescue.”

When QuickRescue is enabled for an Avive Connect AED, emergency services (911) will be automatically notified when the device performs a heart rhythm analysis, indicating that the electrode pads have been placed on a patient and a rescue attempt is happening. This notification includes the AED's location, device details, and incident data. It also allows 911 to dispatch EMS to the scene even if a responder or bystander has not already called 911.
