The Avive Portable Power Bank is an accessory you can use to extend the battery life of your Avive Connect AED(s). Your Avive Connect AED must be operating on Connectivity Software version 2.1 or higher to use Power Bank Mode.
To optimize the power bank's performance, make sure to perform these steps before storage:
1. First ensure you fully charge both your Avive Connect AED and your Avive Portable Power Bank. (Note: to fully charge your Avive Portable Power Bank, please let it charge for 24 hours).
2. Then, on your device's screen, navigate to Settings > Power, and then toggle Power Bank Mode ON. (Note: Turning Power Bank Mode ON will automatically toggle Low Power Mode ON. If you are part of a 4 Minute Community or PAD+ organization and use Nearby Emergency Alerts, toggle your device back into High Power Mode after turning on Power Bank Mode).
3. Finally, plug the Avive Connect AED into the Avive Portable Power Bank and store. Use either the cable that came with your power bank or the Avive USB Charging Cable to connect the two.
Please note, the Avive Connect AED's battery life will not be extended with the use of an off-the-shelf power bank. This accessory is specifically programmed to extend the battery life of your Avive Connect AED by providing a few minutes of battery charge each day. Additionally, you should not use the Avive Portable Power Bank with other electronics. Avive's Portable Power Bank is only designed to be used with your Avive Connect AED.
