If your Avive Connect AED changes Device States or if an Issue arises, Avive’s REALConnect software will let you know. Your Avive Connect AED’s health status is reflected via the Status Light on the device, is viewable on the device screen, and is also viewable remotely on REALConnect.
Possible Device States:
-
Emergency Ready: Your Avive Connect AED is ready to be used in an Emergency. Devices must be synced with REALConnect and have no Issues that would impair Emergency use. The Status Light on your device will blink green once every ~15 seconds to let you know it is ready for use!
-
Setup Needed - Your Avive Connect AED is in Shipping Mode. To initialize your device, press the Power Button on the top of your device and follow the directions for Device Setup.
-
Training Mode - Your Avive Connect AED has a Training Cartridge installed. When a Training Cartridge is installed instead of an Avive AED Pad Cartridge, the device is not ready to use in an emergency. The Status Light on your device will blink red and the device will audibly beep at the top of every hour to remind you to install an Avive AED Pad Cartridge. Simply remove the Training Cartridge and insert an Avive AED Pad Cartridge to clear the Training Mode Device State.
-
Not Connected -Your Avive Connect AED has not connected with REALConnect in 5 or more days, and therefore is not actively sharing its health status or location.. This is most commonly due to a depleted battery or an issue with the Wi-Fi or cellular connection. The Device State can still be observed via the Status Light on the device, or on the device screen.
- Maintenance Required - Your Avive Connect AED has an Issue that requires manual attention (such as an AED Battery Low or Expired Pads). The Status Light on your device will blink red and the device will audibly beep at the top of every hour to remind you that manual maintenance is required.
