If the Status Light on your Avive Connect AED is solid red, this means your AED is performing a firmware update. Do not press any buttons on your device to let it continue the firmware update.
If the Status Light is solid red for more than 1 hour, perform the following steps.
- Press and hold both the Child and Español buttons on the top of your device at the same time for 15 seconds. Note: These buttons need to be pressed and held very firmly in order to complete this step.
- Press the Power Button on the top of your device so that the button lights up and the AED audibly states, “Powered On.” If your AED does not respond, contact Avive Customer Support using one of the methods below.
- If the solid red light persists, continue with the following steps, 4-6.
- Confirm the Child and Español Button are working by powering on the AED and pressing each button individually and confirming they light up when pressed.
- If both buttons are working, attempt Step 1 again.
- If the solid red light remains on, please contact Avive Customer Support using one of the methods below.
