Yes. In many cases, you can use funds from your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to purchase your Avive AED.
What You Should Know:
Eligibility Can Vary: While AEDs are generally accepted as eligible, individual HSA/FSA plan rules may vary. We always recommend checking with your plan administrator or provider to confirm before making a purchase.
- Documentation: Your HSA/FSA provider may require a copy of your receipt or a Letter of Medical Necessity. Be sure to keep your documentation from Avive for reimbursement purposes.
- Using your HSA/FSA Card: You can attempt to use your HSA/FSA debit card directly when paying your invoice. If it’s not accepted, you can pay using a standard credit or debit card, and then submit a reimbursement request through your plan provider.
Important Notes:
- We do not facilitate reimbursement through insurance companies.
- Avive Solutions does not have an NPI (National Provider Identifier) as we are not a healthcare provider.
- We are unable to provide superbills or other insurance-specific documentation.
How to Request a Letter of Medical Necessity
Avive cannot provide you with a letter of medical necessity. If your provider requires one, please reach out to your healthcare provider (doctor, specialist, etc.).
