The Avive Connect AED will periodically produce audible beeps when the device needs attention.
If your device’s Status Light is blinking red and/or beeping, press and hold the Power Button on the device for 5 seconds to prompt a status check. After you've done this, the device will verbally tell you what is wrong.
Here are a few examples of what could be causing your device to audibly beep:
- AED Battery is low
- Pad Cartridge is expired
- Pad Cartridge has been used
- Training Cartridge is installed
- There is no Pad Cartridge or an Invalid Pad Cartridge is installed
- AED Failed Self-Test
- The AED is operating outside of its temperature limits
