If you see your Avive Connect AED displaying an error code in REALConnect, you may need to perform a few manual steps on your device to resolve the Issue. You may be seeing these error codes in REALConnect if your device has poor Wi-Fi or Cellular connection, or if the Connectivity Battery is depleted.
Please note, if the Status Light on your device is still blinking green, your AED is fully functional and ready to save a life. Error C01 and Error C02 may resolve after your device performs its nightly self-test. To troubleshoot now, perform the steps below depending on the error.
If Error C01 is displayed:
- Navigate to the Settings menu on your device’s screen and press Standby.
- Wait a few minutes for the screen to fully power off.

Remove the Pad Cartridge and wait ~1 minute.

Reinsert the Pad Cartridge. The screen will turn on when the Pad Cartridge is reinserted.

Navigate to the Settings menu on your device’s screen and press Reboot System.
You should see your device update in REALConnect once you refresh the page. If you do not see your AED’s status update in REALConnect after 24 hours, please contact Avive Customer Support by calling 1 (800) 489 -4428.
If Error C02 is displayed:
- Plug in your device and confirm that it is charging. Keep your device on the charger for the following steps.
- Navigate to the Settings menu on your device's screen and press Reboot System.
- Once the device screen reboots, wait ~2 minutes for Wi-Fi and/or Cellular to connect.
- Press and hold the Power Button on the top of the AED for at least 7 seconds to prompt a Status Check. Your AED should audibly announce its software version number, health state, and display this information on the screen. If you hear the status information but do not see the information visually on the screen, contact Avive Customer Support.
You should see your device update in REALConnect once you refresh the page. If you do not see your AED’s status update in REALConnect after 24 hours, please contact Avive Customer Support by calling 1 (800) 489 -4428.
