If you do not see a Check for Updates button on your device's screen when you navigate to Your Device > Device Details > Software, this means you are operating on an earlier software version. To update the software manually on your Avive Connect AED, perform the following steps:
- Plug in and charge your device for at least 30 minutes. Keep your device on the charger for the following steps.
- Navigate to Settings > Reboot System on your device's screen. If your screen is not turning on after pressing the black Display Button, click here for troubleshooting instructions.
- Connect your device to Wi-Fi if possible for faster, more reliable updates.
- Press and hold the Power Button on the top of the device for at least 7 seconds to prompt a Status Check. The device will visually and audibly tell you the current software version and status. If you hear the audio but do not see the software version appear on the screen, please contact Avive Customer Support using one of the methods below.
- Your software should update after ~20 minutes. You may see the screen reboot during this process. If possible, leave your AED plugged in and connected to Wi-Fi overnight.
- On your device screen, navigate to Your Device > Device Details. Note the Connectivity Software version and AED Software version. You can find the latest software versions here.
