Add Locations
To add a Location, you must have Administrator permissions for your Organization.
To view a list of all your Locations, click on the Locations Detail Page on the left-hand side of your REALConnect Platform. Select the blue Add Location button in the top right to add a new Location and enter in the physical address. Once you’ve inputted your location details, click Save in the top right to finalize the Location entry.
Once you’ve created a new Location, you can assign Managers to it. Any Manager you assign to the location will be able to view all AEDs associated with that Location.
How do I edit my AED details?
To edit the details of an existing AED, click on the AEDs Detail Page tab in the menu column on the lefthand side of your REALConnect Platform Dashboard Page.
Select the name of the AED you'd like to update and then choose the Edit button in the top righthand corner. Depending on your permissions, you will have the opportunity to edit various aspects the device details.
Account Administrators will have the option to edit AED Details for any device within their organization. Managers will have the ability to view and edit AED Details of the AEDs associated to the location for which they are assigned.
How do I assign a Primary Contact to an AED?
Administrators or Managers can be assigned as a Primary Contact to an AED in the REALConnect Platform. A Primary Contact’s info will display on the Return Device screen after an AED has been used.
To assign a Primary Contact to an AED, click on the AED Detail Page on the left side column of your REALConnect Platform. Click on the name of the AED you want to assign a Primary Contact to, and then click Edit in the top right corner of the AED’s page. From there, you can enter in the Primary Contact’s name and assign Labels.
How do I add a Label to an AED?
Labels are a useful way to organize information in your REALConnect Platform. A Label is essentially a tag you can create to provide contextual information. Labels can be applied to AEDs and to Locations.
Only Administrators can create and edit Labels in the REALConnect Platform although Labels are visible to both Administrators and to Managers (for the locations they are assigned). Both Administrators and Managers can assign Labels to AEDs and Locations.
To assign a Label to an AED, toggle to the AEDs Detail Page on the side menu on the lefthand side of your Dashboard. Select the AED you'd like to update and select Edit button in the top right hand corner.
At the bottom of this page you will see an "Assign Labels" option. Search for the Label you'd like to assign the AED to and add.
